The Central Question: How to best support neurodivergent kids?
Neurodivergent - having or relating to a disorder or condition (such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, or obsessive-compulsive disorder) that impacts the way the brain processes information
A central part to understanding this question is determining the needs of neurodivergent kids and pairing those with the best way I can support them. (Focusing on strengths in the workplace)
In order to move towards a solution, I have decided to work with the Work with the garage door open.
- I believe in the importance of Becoming a polymath or rather continuous learning and growth. I learn best through Conversational learning.
Teaching through Ephemeral magical experience
- We often grow best when we are slightly out of our comfort zones. Ephemeral Magical Experiences place us in these growth zones. Because we are out of our comfort zones yet still in safe environment, we are free to explore in a learning playground.
- For me, camp is an ephemeral magical experience.
